Adam Kinzinger shunned by GOP for protecting police and the US government

Republican congressman, Adam Kinzinger of Illinois is taking a stand for police and the seat of our American democracy, the US Capitol, after both were attacked on January 6th. But it seems that Blue Lives don’t matter to his fellow Republicans, who have chosen to rebuke his basic understanding of good and evil by seeking to remove him from the party. Family members of the Kinzinger clan have also disowned him, curiously calling him a member of “the devil’s army.”
Speaking to the Daily Orb over the phone, Kinzinger’s Republican colleague, Matt Gaetz (R-FL), a die-hard Trump supporter that resembles 90s MTV cartoon character, Butt-head, and has committed himself to “Defunding the Capitol Police,” explained the Republicans’ current rationale.
“Yes, we are biased towards cops and mainly support those cops that conduct racial profiling and on-the-job homicides of Black citizens, but as soon as those officers don’t put the violent, hate-spewing, rhetoric of Donald Trump ahead of the interests of this great nation…that’s when we put our fists into the air and say ‘Defund the Capitol Police!’”
Bill Kinzinger, a distant cousin of Congressman Adam Kinzinger summed up the family’s position in one sentence: “Yeah we’re the party that loves America, but guess what, we don’t love it if you don’t allow us to maintain our superiority.”
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who recently voted against convicting former President Donal Trump for inciting a violent attack on public officials, police officers, and the US Capitol, weighed in on the matter over email.“I think it’s out in the open now that we don’t actually love police or the country. And if you look at our successes in appointing judges and winning elections, you’ll realize something else: we don’t have to.”
